Job summary

Motlow State Community College seeks an Adjunct Medical Laboratory Technician Faculty (Pool) to provide high-quality instruction across multiple campuses. The role involves teaching courses per catalog descriptions and syllabi, and traveling to area campuses as assigned to support dual enrollment programs.

The position requires an associate degree or higher with 1–3 years of clinical lab experience; applicants from regionally accredited institutions will be considered.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate’s or higher degree in Medical Lab Technician or related field and 1–3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Degree must be earned from a regionally accredited institution by the application date.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and approved course syllabus.
• Travel to multiple campuses as assigned and teach dual enrollment classes at area high schools.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular and programmatic issues.
• Support student learning and assist with college operations as needed.
• Maintain availability to communicate with and meet students regarding coursework.
• Submit all requested paperwork timely and in full.
