Job summary

Allianz Türkiye, located in Istanbul’s Fatih district, seeks an experienced actuarial professional to compile data, run IFRS 17 and local closings, and lead reserve modeling. You will drive budgeting, portfolio analysis, and methodological research in a dynamic team environment with English proficiency and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years experience in actuarial and reserving, Life and Pension preferred.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with IFRS 17 and SII reporting.
• Skilled in cash flow analysis and life actuarial modelling tools such as RAFM or Prophet.
• Detail oriented, good communicator, team player.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience with analytics platforms: Win SQL, SAS, Knime, Python.
• Interest in AI, data analytics and data strategy.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, actuarial science, statistics or mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Compile data for periodic actuarial analyses and reserves.
• Execute IFRS 17 and local closing processes.
• Execute budgeting activities for the department.
• Develop modeling processes for reserve management.
• Prepare indicators to evaluate portfolios and reserves.
• Research and implement new actuarial methodologies.
• Prepare actuarial reports for domestic and international use.
• Support internal and external audit work.
• Monitor IFRS regulations and legal changes.
• Participate in Allianz group projects within the department.

What do we expect you to bring?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematic
• 4-5 years experience in actuarial and reserving departments, preferably in Life and Pension
• Experienced in data analysis
• Experienced in IFRS17 and SII reporting
• Experienced in cash flow analysis and life actuarial modelling tools (RAFM, Prophet etc)
• Detail oriented, result driven, with good communication skills and open to team work
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Preferably experienced in analytics platforms like Win SQL, SAS, Knime, Pyhton
• Interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, Data Analytics, Data Intelligence, AI / Data Strategy and ChatGPT

How can you make an impact?

• Compile the necessary data and information for periodic and daily actuarial analyses,
• Execute IFRS 17 and local closing processes,
• Execute budgeting activities,
• Conduct and develop modeling processes related to reserve management,
• Prepare and interpret the necessary indicators for evaluating and monitoring portfolios and reserves,
• Research and implement new methodologies for actuarial analyses,
• Prepare actuarial reports to be submitted domestically and internationally,
• Support internal and external audit work,
• Monitor relevant legal and IFRS regulations,
• Actively participate in internal and Allianz group projects related to the department.
