Job summary

Allianz is seeking a data-driven actuarial analyst based in Fatih, Istanbul, to compile data and support reserve analyses, while developing modeling processes for efficient reserve management. You will prepare indicators to evaluate portfolios and reserves and contribute to actuarial reporting for domestic and international submissions.

The role requires up to 3 years in actuarial/reserving, strong data analysis skills, English proficiency, and familiarity with SAS, KNIME, Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, actuarial science, statistics, or mathematics.
• Up to 3 years experience in actuarial and reserving, preferably in P&C.
• Strong data analysis experience.
• Detail oriented with good communication and teamwork.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Experience with analytics platforms like SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, Knime.
• Familiar with ResQ.
• Knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Interest in AI development, data analytics, data intelligence, AI/Data strategy and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Compile data for periodic and daily actuarial analyses.

What do we expect you to bring?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematic
• Up to 3 years experience in actuarial and reserving departments, preferably in P&C
• Experienced in data analysis
• Detail oriented, result driven, with good communication skills and open to team work
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Preferably experienced in analytics platforms like SAS, SAS Entreprise Guide, Knime
• Preferably experienced in ResQ program
• Preferably with knowledge of Python and SQL
• Interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, Data Analytics, Data Intelligence, AI / Data Strategy and ChatGPT

• Conduct and develop modeling processes related to reserve management,
• Prepare and interpret the necessary indicators for evaluating and monitoring portfolios and reserves,
