Trendyol Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day accounting for our Dutch entity and EU activities. You will drive monthly closings, reconciliations, and statutory compliance while partnering with tax and audit teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• More than 3 years of accounting, tax, audit experience.
• Experience with foreign entities is an asset.
• Proficient in Excel and with SAP FI/CO modules.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Turkish.
• CPA or CPA intern is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the Dutch entity and EU activities.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly prepared and reported.
• Oversee related party transactions with relevant teams.
• Lead monthly financial close activities for timely, accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with external service providers, auditors, and tax consultants for compliance.
• Collaborate with Group Tax for local tax issues including transfer pricing.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting efficiency and quality.

About The Role

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage day-to-day accounting operations, monthly closing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance, while supporting process improvements and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations mainly but not limited with OPEX, fixed assets and supplier reconciliations of our Dutch entity with a scope of all EU activites of Trendyol Group,
• Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly prepared and reported,
• Managing any related party transactions in alignment with the relevant teams,
• Taking responsibility in the monthly financial closing activities and ensure for timely and accurate financial closing & submission,
• Be in contact with the third party service providers/auditors/tax consultants to adequately plan and execute the statutory compliance of GAAPs and tax filings,
• Working collaboratively with Group Tax Team for any local tax issues (including transfer pricing),
• Taking an active role for improving efficiency & quality of the accounting process.

Qualities We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or other related departments,
• More than 3 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit and similar areas,
• Experience in working with foreign entities is an asset,
• Proficient at working in Excel and with Big Data Experience in SAP (especially in FI & CO modules),
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Turkish,
• Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality,
• Ability to think strategically; go beyond the numbers and to think logically about underlying business drivers and issues,
• Open to direct feedback culture, to constant learning & development, taking initiative and not avoiding responsibility, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment,
• CPA or CPA intern is a plus.
