EPAM Systems in Turkey is seeking an SAP Cloud Platform Developer to join our team. You will analyse business requirements, design, implement, and test SAP-based solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge cloud-native projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to DevOps practices, and participate in Agile Scrum cycles. Proficiency in SAPUI5 and cloud platforms, plus English B2+, are expected; knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

Competenze

• Proficiency in SAP SAPUI5 with 2+ years of hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, ABAP/4, Node.js, or C++ with solid knowledge of microservice architecture.
• Experience in cloud platforms (SAP Cloud Platform, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry).
• Understanding of SAP Cloud Platform (Cloud Foundry) and platform services.
• Experience building scalable web apps/cloud services using modern web tech (JQuery, REST, OData).
• DevOps mindset and ownership of deployment lifecycle.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and specify business requirements
• Perform modeling, design, implementation, and testing based on SAP programming models and processes
• Collaborate with other development teams and product management specialists
• Mentor junior engineers on software design, coding practices, and TDD strategies in a holistic manner
• Instill and promote development best practices – Cloud-Native Development, Live Site First, etc.
• Be involved in the Agile (Scrum) development process within an Agile (Scrum) development team
• Deliver high-quality design, development, and delivery results as part of a scrum team throughout short development and release cycles

Requirements

• Proficiency in SAP SAPUI5, with 2+ years of hands-on experience
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages and techniques – Java, JavaScript, ABAP/4, Node.js, C++, with solid knowledge of microservice architecture
• Programming experience in Cloud platforms, e.g., SAP Cloud Platform, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry
• Clear understanding of SAP Cloud Platform (Cloud Foundry) and available platform services
• Proven skills in building scalable web applications/cloud services using cutting-edge web technologies (JQuery, Server Side JS, REST, OData)
• DevOps mindset – inherent sense of ownership through the deployment lifecycle
• English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Understanding of containers and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of SAP systems functionality and SAP Fiori UX principles
• Understanding of SAP systems side-by-side extensibility (SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP Cloud SDK)
