Job summary

Skydagger in Istanbul is seeking a hands-on technician to run 3D printing lines (FDM, SLS, SLA), remove finished parts from machines, and start new production cycles. You will perform post-processing, inspections, and basic maintenance, ensuring finalization and delivery to departments, with strict adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field from a vocational school.
• Proficient in using hand tools (sander, file, drill, chisel, etc.) with strong manual skills and practical ability
• Knowledge of 3D polymer manufacturing methods (preferably FDM, SLS, SLA) and related processes
• Experience in plastic injection manufacturing
• Residing in or able to relocate to the European side of Istanbul.

Responsibilities

• Handling production outputs—primarily in 3D printing processes—by removing parts from machines and initiating new production cycles
• Starting production on plastic injection machines and performing the necessary operations to collect produced parts
• Carrying out post-processing operations such as surface cleaning, curing, and sandblasting when required; ensuring finalization, quality control, and delivery of products to relevant departments
• Operating 3D printers (FDM, SLS, etc.), including daily operations, calibrations, and periodic maintenance in accordance with given procedures
• Performing visual inspection of parts and applying surface finishing processes such as sanding and reaming in case of aesthetic defects
• Replacing certain components in case of machine malfunctions
