Fifth Games in Istanbul (Fatih) is seeking a skilled 2D Game Artist to join our ambitious indie team. You will create and iterate assets such as UI elements, icons, and game objects, and help define the artistic direction across titles.

Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma, plus a solid grasp of color theory, lighting, and mobile UI, is essential. You will collaborate across disciplines and leverage AI tools to enhance creativity while ensuring Unity integration and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3+ years of experience in 2D game art with ownership of projects.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Strong grasp of color theory, lighting, and composition.
• Collaborative and receptive to feedback.

We are looking for a creative and talented 2D Game Artist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and iterate on a variety of in-game assets such as UI elements, icons, game objects, and simple visual components.
• Define, maintain, and evolve the visual and artistic style of our projects.
• Create engaging UI/UX designs, illustrations, and game assets while leveraging generative AI tools to enhance the creative process.
• Implement and optimize art assets within Unity, ensuring visual quality while maintaining game performance and technical guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from related departments.
• 3+ years of experience in 2D game art, with the ability to independently manage tasks, make informed artistic decisions, and take ownership of projects from concept to final implementation.
• Advanced skills in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or similar.
• Solid understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, and mobile UI dynamics.
• Open to feedback, solution-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively across different disciplines.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and workflows and willingness to integrate them into daily work.
• Passion for mobile games and crafting fun, engaging visuals.
