Job summary

Baykar in Istanbul is seeking a 2D cabling design engineer for aviation platforms. You will perform design and revision drawings for cabling systems and prepare material and cable lists.

The ideal candidate graduated in Aviation Electrical-Electronics, has experience with cabling drawing software, and understands IPC-610/IPC-620. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and ready for flexible hours in a demanding, travel-free environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Aviation Electrical-Electronics departments of universities.
• Preferably experienced in cabling drawing software.
• Preferably knowledgeable about IPC-610 and IPC-620.
• Actively uses Microsoft Office programs.
• General knowledge of 2D cabling design.
• Residing in or able to reside in Istanbul.
• For male candidates, having completed military service or having at least a 2-year deferment.
• Able to adapt to flexible working hours in a demanding work environment.
• No travel restrictions.

Job description

Our unit is responsible for developing cabling architectures in accordance with international aviation standards (IPC-610, IPC-620, etc.) within the scope of electrical integration of aircraft and related subsystems. The unit carries out configuration management, weight optimization, technical documentation, and integration processes in line with system requirements.

Position Objective

To carry out 2D design, technical drawing, and revision activities of cabling systems for aviation platforms. This role is responsible for preparing material and cable lists for the relevant designs and managing weight tracking processes, a critical parameter in aviation, in accordance with the determined quality standards.
