Job summary
A well-established medical devices company in Singapore is looking for a Financial Manager. You will assist in developing compliance policies, manage financial statements, and oversee costing functions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5-8 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles. - Current CA/CMA membership or equivalent would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Group Finance Director in developing, implementing and monitoring compliance.
- Review consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Lead the Finance Managers of subsidiaries for group financial activities.
- Manage relationship with external auditors for financial audits.
- Oversee the costing function for manufacturing activities in Singapore.

- Working day: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Assist the Group Finance Director in developing, implementing and monitoring the compliance of internal control policies and procedures.
- Review consolidated financial statements, management reports and budget variance analysis of the Group.
- Co-ordinate and lead the Finance Managers of subsidiaries to perform group financial activities.
- Ensure all financial, accounting and analytical reports are prepared according to the management policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate, participate and deliver insights into the financial reports in the management meeting and board meeting.
- Manage relationship with external auditors for financial audits.
- Complete and submit all GST returns and ensure compliance.
- Review CIT returns to be submitted by Tax Agent.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, analysis and presentation to Management.
- Oversee the costing function for the manufacturing activities in Singapore.
- Supervision of local & overseas Accounts staff with full spectrum of accounting responsibilities.
- Perform any other tasks as the need arises.
- Possess minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 5-8 years of working experience, including experience in manufacturing costing, and supervisory experience.
- Prior working experience with Microsoft Business Central is beneficial.
- Current CA/CMA membership or equivalent would be an added advantage.
- Some travelling within Asia is required.
