Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. Tuas Ave site is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee bar bending on the shop floor, read drawings and bar bending schedules, and ensure timely completion of cutting and bending works.

You will identify production, quality and safety issues, plan resources including materials and manpower, and ensure all activities comply with safety and quality standards. Diploma in engineering, steel fabrication experience and shift flexibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering field required and relevant experience in production supervision.
• Experience in steel fabrication, rebar processing, or similar manufacturing operations is advantageous.
• Willing to work on rotating day and night shifts (currently day shift; potential night shift in future).
• Experience in manpower planning and supervising production workers.
• Knowledge of safety management and compliance with safety standards.
• WSH certification for supervisory or lifting supervision is a plus.

Working Days: 5. 5 days A Week (44 hrs/week)
Working hours : Mon-Fri (8am - 5pm): Sat (8am - 12pm)
Salary :$3,500 - $4,500 (Based on market rate, subject to individual’s qualification & experience)

Overview

We are a public-listed company that specialises in the manufacturing of steel prefabricated reinforcement for the construction industry. We are seeking suitably qualified personnel to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor progress of bar bending activities on the production shopfloor.
• Read and interpret drawings, bar bending schedules and shop drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of rebar cutting and bending works in accordance with approved drawings.
• Identify and resolve production, quality and safety issues promptly.
• Practice advance planning and manage critical activities involving materials, manpower and equipment.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure quality compliance and that all works are executed according to approved drawings.
• Ensure that production activities comply with safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma in any engineering field
• Relevant experience in production supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience insteel fabrication, rebar processing, or similar manufacturing operationswill be an advantage.
• Willing to work on rotating day and night shifts. (Currently only day shift, night shift for future arrangement)
• Experience inmanpower planning and supervising production workers.
• Knowledge of safety management
• WSH certification for supervisory or lifting supervision will be an added advantage
