Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Tuas.

The role involves supervising bar bending on the shop floor, reading drawings, and ensuring timely delivery of rebar cutting and bending work in line with approved drawings. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in engineering and has experience in production supervision, preferably in steel fabrication or similar manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or related field required.
• Relevant experience in production supervision required.
• Experience in steel fabrication or rebar processing advantageous.
• Willing to work rotating day/night shifts (currently day shift).
• Experience in manpower planning and supervising production workers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor progress of bar bending activities on the production shopfloor.
• Read and interpret drawings, bar bending schedules and shop drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of rebar cutting and bending works per drawings.
• Identify and resolve production, quality and safety issues promptly.
• Plan ahead and manage materials, manpower and equipment for critical activities.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
• Ensure production activities meet safety and quality standards at all times.

Location: Tuas Ave
Working Days: 5. 5 days A Week (44 hrs/week)
Working hours : Mon-Fri (8am - 5pm): Sat (8am - 12pm)
Salary :$3,500 - $4,500 (Based on market rate, subject to individual’s qualification & experience)

Overview:

We are a public-listed company that specialises in the manufacturing of steel prefabricated reinforcement for the construction industry. We are seeking suitably qualified personnel to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor progress of bar bending activities on the production shopfloor.
• Read and interpret drawings, bar bending schedules and shop drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of rebar cutting and bending works in accordance with approved drawings.
• Identify and resolve production, quality and safety issues promptly.
• Practice advance planning and manage critical activities involving materials, manpower and equipment.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure quality compliance and that all works are executed according to approved drawings.
• Ensure that production activities comply with safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any engineering field
• Relevant experience in production supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience insteel fabrication, rebar processing, or similar manufacturing operationswill be an advantage.
• Willing to work on rotating day and night shifts. (Currently only day shift, night shift for future arrangement)
• Experience inmanpower planning and supervising production workers.
• Knowledge of safety management
• WSH certification for supervisory or lifting supervision will be an added
  advantage
