Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Youth Worker to support programmes for youths in Singapore. The role runs from January to October 2027 (10 months), Tue to Thu, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch break and a total of 936 contracted hours.

The position requires a Diploma in Social Work or Youth Work, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and programme management skills to design and deliver engaging youth programmes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Work or Youth Work is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant social or youth work experience.
• Experience in developing and delivering youth programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide youth support, engagement and intervention services.
• Assess individual needs and develop appropriate support plans.
• Develop and deliver youth programmes based on participants' needs and interests.
• Facilitate group activities, support groups and engagement programmes.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to support youth development.
• Monitor and evaluate programmes and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive matters.
• Manage multiple cases, programmes and competing priorities.
• Provide support during activities and programmes as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Youth Worker x1

Salary: $20/hour (Approx. $2,080/month)

Contract: 10 months (January 2027 - October 2027)

Working Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break (The total estimated contract hours are: 936 hours)

Working Days: Tuesday to Thursday; no service on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
