Job summary

Allkin Singapore Ltd is seeking a Social Work Associate for Allkin Youth Service. You will work with children and youths aged 11 to 21 and their families, providing casework, counselling, and group activities under guidance.

The role involves coordinating intakes, assisting in programme delivery, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure effective youth support services; collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Polytechnic Diploma in Social Work.
• At least 1 year of experience working with youths and a genuine passion for supporting their development and well-being.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively support social work interventions.
• Proficient in using digital and IT platforms to support administrative and operational requirements.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to engage youths, families, and stakeholders, and prepare case documentation and reports.
• Resourceful and skilled in collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective community solutions and deliver programmes.
• Good understanding of, and ability to interpret, relevant policies and schemes that impact youths.
• Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgement, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in casework and counselling interventions and youth engagement/outreach with expert guidance.
• Support the administrative functions essential to the casework and counselling and groupwork programmes.
• Assist in the execution of group work, community development, and program initiatives related to youthwork
• To assist with handling enquiries and managing intakes.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD and supervisor.
