Singapore Association for Mental Health, The seeks a Social Work Associate to support the YIT team in delivering community-based mental health services for youths and their families. The role involves screening, assessment, and case management within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work with schools, hospitals, and community partners to raise mental health literacy, provide counselling, and ensure proper documentation and follow-up support in a busy centre environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Psychology or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Experience working in Social Service Agencies, especially youth work, will be an added advantage.
• Experience with facilitation, case management and counselling.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with arts (visual arts, music, drama, dance) and/or sports is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Screen referred youths for mental health distress and provide services to youth and families.
• Implement case management service model with youth and families.
• Co-ordinate intake assessment and safety planning for youths.
• Engage families, schools and hospitals to support reintegration into the community.
• Conduct outreach and networking with community partners and agencies.
