Job summary

The Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) seeks a Program Coordinator to develop and deliver holistic group services for children aged 7–12 within a wraparound community mental health model at the Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre.

Under supervision of an experienced Child Psychologist and team leaders, you will manage interns and volunteers, coordinate KH and KHIP activities, engage parents and partners, and ensure safe, well‑organized weekly sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field from accredited program - Psychology, Social Work or related fields preferred.
• 1–2 years of work experience in programme management, community engagement, or client-facing roles.
• Strong interest and ability to engage children and families and interact with children, families, teachers and partners.
• Emotional maturity, composure and presence in challenging situations.
• Ability to work with young adult co-leaders and in team settings
• Willingness to learn new skills relevant to working with children (behaviour management, communication)
• Good observational skills, attention to detail, creativity & analysis
• Independent work with minimal supervision, self-starter
• Proficient in verbal and written communication
• Evening and some weekend hours availability

Responsibilities

• Lead KH group as facilitator and assist in running a second group cohort (ages 7–12; groups meet twice weekly).
• Manage junior facilitator teams of university interns and volunteers.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for KH activities.
• Participate in pre- and post-group session briefings with interns.
• Engage with parents, partner organizations and service providers.
• Oversee notes for group, family, partner organizations and child services.
• Manage KH spaces, inventory, and ensure safe, organized weekly sessions.
• Co-curate and execute KH activities aligned with KH philosophy and goals.
• Interview, screen, evaluate and provide regular reviews for KHIP interns.
• Co-monitor internship project deliverables.
• Liaise with procurement and finance on billing and financial matters.
• Oversee operational workflow of KH and KHIP programs.
• Update Chief of Psychological Services on operations and schedules.
• Undertake additional roles assigned by management.
