Job summary

EDUCARE HUMAN CAPITAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a diligent Food Production Operator to join our Bedok-based team. You will operate production machinery and prepare ingredients to produce Yong Tau Foo items in a clean and efficient manner.

You will set up and run machines, prepare fish paste, flour and seasonings, and assist in forming, stuffing, and shaping products. The role requires adherence to GMP, strong teamwork, and ability to read basic instructions. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred but not required (training provided).
• Physical: ability to stand for long periods, lift items (weight not specified), and work in a cold environment.
• Attitude: hardworking, responsible, able to work in a team.
• Knowledge: basic understanding of food hygiene.
• Language: able to read basic instructions/labels.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor food processing machinery according to production schedules.
• Prepare raw materials (fish paste, flour, seasonings) and ensure correct ratios.
• Assist in forming, stuffing, and shaping Yong Tau Foo products.
• Inspect finished products for size, weight, and appearance; report defects or machine issues.
• Adhere to GMP and maintain a clean workstation; sanitize equipment.
• Weigh, pack, and label finished goods for storage or delivery.
• Inform supervisor when raw materials or packaging supplies are running low.
