Job summary

CRESTAR EDUCATION GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a passionate Yoga and/or Pilates instructor on a part-time, freelance/contract basis.

You will lead group classes at Crestar's direct centres and institutional partners during weekday evenings and/or weekends, tailoring sessions to participants’ needs and safety. Requirements include recognized certification (RYT-200 or equivalent), 1+ year teaching experience, CPR/AED willingness, and strong communication. Prior experience with children is a plus.

Qualifications

• Recognized Yoga or Pilates instructor certification (RYT-200 or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of experience teaching group Yoga and/or Pilates.
• Dual certification is advantageous.
• Strong communication and patient teaching demeanor.
• Physically fit to demonstrate poses safely.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead safe, engaging Yoga and/or Pilates classes.
• Adapt poses and pacing to suit age and fitness levels.
• Provide alignment cues and corrections as needed.
• Prepare and clear class setup (mats, props, music) before/after sessions.
• Monitor participant well-being and report safety concerns.
• Maintain punctuality and professional conduct at all times.

Job description

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and certified Yoga and/or Pilates Instructor to join our team on apart-time (freelance/contract) basis. The role involves conducting group Yoga and/or Pilates classes for students and, where applicable, family/adult participants at Crestar's direct centres and institutional partners. Classes are conducted on weekday evenings and/or weekends, based on assigned timeslots.

A) Class Teaching & Delivery

• Plan and lead safe, engaging Yoga and/or Pilates classes.
• Adapt poses, sequences, and pacing to suit the age group, fitness level, and any physical considerations of participants.
• Give clear, correct alignment and breathing cues, and provide hands-on or verbal corrections where appropriate.
• Set up and pack down the classs pace (mats, props, music/audio) before and after each session.

B) Student Care & Class Administration

• Monitor participant well-being throughout the class and flag any safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain regular communication with the Centre-in-Charge on class attendance, participant progress, and any incidents.
• Arrive punctually and be class-ready ahead of the scheduled start time.
• Uphold Crestar's standards of professionalism, punctuality, and student care at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognized Yoga (e.g. RYT-200or equivalent) and/or Pilates (Mat or Reformer) instructor certification.
• At least 1 year of experience teaching group Yoga and/or Pilates classes.
• Dual certification in both disciplines is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging teaching manner.
• Physically fit and able to demonstrate poses/movements safely and confidently.
• Available for at least 1-2fixed weekday or weekend timeslots per week.
• Valid CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain one.
• Prior experience teaching children, preschoolers, or in an enrichment/school setting is an advantage.
