Job summary

Crestar Education Group is seeking a passionate Hip Hop/Street Dance educator to deliver high-energy, structured classes and coach students for performances and examinations. Classes occur on weekday evenings and weekends, with school holiday programmes as needed.

JOBSUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate Hip Hop / Street Dance artist-educator to deliver high-energy, structured Hip Hop, Kpop, and Street Dance classes to students of all ages, and to choreograph and coach them for performances, showcases, examinations, and competitions. Classes are conducted on weekday evenings and weekends, and the role includes school holiday programmes as required.

A. Teaching & Programme Delivery

• Plan and deliver structured Hip Hop / Street Dance / Kpop classes aligned with Crestar's curriculum and teaching standards.
• Conduct classes in accordance with HQ guidelines and approved lesson plans.
• Prepare and coach students for performances, showcases, examinations, and competitions.
• Engageparents through regular communication, progress updates, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Support Centre Operations personnel on dance-related matters, class execution, and student management.

B. Events & Projects

• Support or lead concerts, recitals, showcases, and competitions.
• Choreograph and prepare students for performances, including music selection, rehearsal coordination, and costume/prop planning.
• Participate in or lead special projects such as holiday camps and exchange programmes.
• Support projects to enhance the Hip Hop programme and curriculum, improving the student learning experience and school enrolment.

JOBREQUIREMENTS

A. Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching Hip Hop to children, teens, and adults.
• Strong background in Hip Hop / Street Dance training and performance.
• Track record in recognised competitions is an advantage.
• Diploma in Dance preferred but not required.

B. Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Hip Hop techniques, choreography, and performance practices.
• Ability to choreograph for various age groups and skill levels.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for presentations, reporting, and data tracking.
