Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Yield Enhancement Engineer to define and communicate yield issues in processing and design, achieving fast turnaround and high-quality yield ramp. You will analyze inline, param, probe and experiment data to drive improvements.

The role requires strong analytical and communication abilities, with collaboration across Fab teams and YE groups, and the ability to apply AI-enabled insights to drive efficiency and quality in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough understanding of yield data analysis and Fab processes.
• Use statistics and data analysis to explain and resolve yield issues.
• Communicate process/tool toggles to Fab areas and support fixes.
• Collaborate across YE groups and understand constraints.
• Create or participate in multi-area focus teams to solve yield problems.
• Publish Pareto of yield limiters for specific part types.
• Present data clearly in large meetings with strong written and verbal skills.
• Support transfer of next-gen technology from R&D to production Fab.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
