Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Yield Engineer to analyze and improve memory yield across NPI programs, using Python, SQL, and dashboard tools to translate data into actionable insights.

The role involves collaboration with process, integration, and engineering teams to drive defects root-cause investigations and implement automated reporting pipelines for yield optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 2–5 years of semiconductor experience, focusing on yield analysis, defect/root cause investigation, or data-driven process optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, with hands-on experience building interactive dashboards and visual reports to translate manufacturing data into yield improvement insights.
• Experience building automated reporting workflows, data pipelines, or process automation in a semiconductor environment, enabling cross-functional decision making.
• Ability to apply AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly for analysis and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Account for HBM NPI yields across PWF, Assembly, and test with defect breakdown and PFA submission to track fail modes.
• Own and execute central YE responsibilities for the HBM NPI program, collaborating with PI to identify defects and brainstorm CIP.
• Learn NPI processes, phase gates, and yield best practices; maintain yield dashboards and trackers.
• Analyze yield deviations; detect early impacts and trigger actions; work with PCS to add SPC/FDC charts to YLR dashboards for shift-left monitoring.
• Brainstorm improvement opportunities with other departments and implement solutions including hotspot analytics to enhance automated defense lines.
• Integrate AI-assisted insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance with standards.
