Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks a full-time technologist to perform health assessments, anthropometry, and BP measurements as part of health screening sessions. After training, you will conduct bone densitometry and body composition scans for multiple participants per session, ensuring accuracy and timely data entry.

You will review images for anomalies, maintain QC and calibration of equipment, update consumable inventories, and uphold safety and privacy standards for participants.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Biotechnology, Biology, or Biosciences.
• Some experience as a technologist in an X-ray facility is a plus.
• Those without experience welcome to apply; training is provided and you must have good mathematical skills.

Job description

Job Scope:

• Obtain consent from research participants.
• Perform health assessments including anthropometry and blood pressure measurement when necessary.
• (Upon completion of training) Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session, keeping to the turnaround time per participant for that procedure.
• Review images and perform data entry accurately, noting any observation of anomalies. Flag anomalies on the scan images to the radiologist for determination of clinical significance.
• Analyse scans to derive the bone density and body composition accurately, and upload to the research database.
• Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment.
• Update the inventory of consumables.
• Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints or adverse events.

• Full-time work hours are: 7.45am to 5.30pm on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri; and 9am to 5pm on Wed.
• Basic Salary up to $4.2K per month, with varibale bonuses
