Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a biomedical technologist to support health screening sessions, perform bone densitometry and body composition scans, and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

You will obtain consent, conduct health assessments, review images, maintain equipment, and uphold participant privacy and safety in a full-time role at our facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments including anthropometry and blood pressure measurement when necessary.
• Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session.
• Review images and perform data entry accurately; flag anomalies for radiologist review.
• Analyse scans to derive bone density and body composition; upload to research database.
• Conduct regular quality control and calibration of equipment.
• Update inventory of consumables.
• Ensure safety and privacy of participants; report incidents or adverse events.

Job description

Job Scope:

• Obtain consent from research participants.


• Perform health assessments including anthropometry and blood pressure measurement when necessary.


• (Upon completion of training) Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session, keeping to the turnaround time per participant for that procedure.


• Review images and perform data entry accurately, noting any observation of anomalies. Flag anomalies on the scan images to the radiologist for determination of clinical significance.


• Analyse scans to derive the bone density and body composition accurately, and upload to the research database.


• Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment.


• Update the inventory of consumables.


• Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints or adverse events.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Biotechnology, Biology, Bio-Sciences


• At least 1 year experience as a technologist in an X-ray facility.


• Full-time work hours are: 7.45am to 6.15pm on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri; and 7.45am to 3.15pm on alternate Sat.
