Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Biomedical Imaging Technologist for Kent Ridge to support health screening sessions. You will obtain consent, perform health assessments, and, after training, bone densitometry and whole body composition scans for participants within stated turnaround times.

You will review images, perform data entry accurately, and flag anomalies for radiologist review. You will also conduct QC, calibrations, maintenance, inventory updates, and ensure

• Diploma/ Degree in Biomedical Sciences.
• Has at least 1 year experience as a technologist in a X-ray facility.

• Perform health assessments including anthropometry and blood pressure measurement when necessary.
• Upon completion of training) Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session, keeping to the turnaround time per participant for that procedure.
• Review images and perform data entry accurately, noting any observation of anomalies. Flag anomalies on the scan images to the radiologist for determination of clinical significance.
• Analyse scans to derive the bone density and body composition accurately, and upload to the research database.
• Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment.
• Update the inventory of consumables.
• Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints or adverse events.

Requirement

• Full-time work hours are: 7.45am to 6.15pm on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri; and 7.45am to 3.15pm on alternate Sat.
• Duration: 1 year or until 31 March 2027
