CTCI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a WWT System Lead Engineer to manage all technical and engineering aspects of Front-End FAB wastewater treatment systems, ensuring capacity, effluent quality and project delivery align with process and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include planning, design reviews, multidisciplinary coordination, vendor management, site construction support and commissioning, with a focus on safety, quality and timely delivery in a Singapore-based project environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in wastewater treatment systems, semiconductor FAB or high-tech facility projects preferred.
  • Site construction supervision and subcontractor coordination experience.
  • Able to read PFDs, P&IDs, engineering drawings, isometric drawings and related technical documents.
  • Familiar with wastewater treatment processes, piping systems and multidisciplinary site interface coordination.
  • Experience coordinating equipment/vendor communications and technical documentation.
  • Able to work independently on site and coordinate with project teams, contractors and Suppliers.
  • Good command of English; Chinese is an advantage.
  • Willing to work on site in a site-based, shift-based environment.
  • Qualifications and licences must comply with Singapore laws and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design Front-End FAB WWT systems, including treatment capacity and system layout based on wastewater characteristics.
  • Review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, equipment specs, data sheets, calculations and design documents for compliance.
  • Manage wastewater stream integration and interface coordination across disciplines.
  • Coordinate interfaces with Process Equipment, Drainage, Water Reclamation, Chemical, Facilities, Electrical and I&C systems.
  • Prepare equipment technical specs, conduct technical bid evaluations and review vendor data.
  • Supervise construction on site and manage RFIs, design changes and installations.
  • Lead or coordinate WWT testing, commissioning and water quality verification.
  • Monitor progress, quality and risks across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and client specifications.
  • Provide technical leadership to drive decisions and issue resolution.

Job Summary

Serve as the WWT System Lead Engineer , responsible for the overall technical and engineering management of Front-End Semiconductor FAB waste water treatment systems, including planning, design, procurement, construction, interface integration and commissioning. Ensure waste water treatment capacity, effluent quality, system reliability and project delivery meet process, environmental and project requirements.


Key Responsibilities


  • WWT System Planning & Design
    Plan and design Front-End FAB WWT systems, including treatment capacity, process, equipment, piping and system layout, based on process wastewater characteristics and treatment requirements.

  • Engineering & Design Review
    Review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations and design documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable environmental regulations.

  • Wastewater Stream Integration
    Manage the segregation, collection and treatment requirements of process wastewater, including acid/alkaline, fluoride, CMP and other special waste streams, ensuring adequate treatment capacity and effluent quality.

  • Multidisciplinary Interface Coordination
    Coordinate WWT interfaces with Process Equipment, Drainage, Water Reclamation, Chemical, Facilities, Electrical and I&C systems throughout design and construction.

  • Procurement & Vendor Coordination
    Prepare equipment technical specifications, conduct Technical Bid Evaluations, review Vendor Data and manage technical clarifications.

  • Construction & Site Support
    Manage RFIs, design changes, equipment and piping installation, site interfaces and technical issues to ensure construction complies with approved designs and engineering standards.

  • Testing & Commissioning
    Lead or coordinate WWT testing, commissioning, performance testing and water quality verification to ensure treatment performance and effluent quality meet design and regulatory requirements.

  • Project Progress & Risk Management
    Monitor engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning progress, while managing quality, technical risks and critical issues and driving timely resolution.

  • Environmental Compliance
    Ensure WWT system design and operating conditions comply with applicable Singapore environmental regulations, effluent discharge requirements, Client specifications and relevant permits.

  • Technical Leadership
    Serve as the WWT Technical Lead, coordinating Clients, design and construction teams, Suppliers and relevant disciplines to drive technical decisions and issue resolution throughout EPCK execution.


Requirements


  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in wastewater treatment systems, semiconductor FAB or high-tech facility projects is highly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in site construction supervision, subcontractor coordination and engineering system installation.

  • Able to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, engineering drawings, isometric drawings and related technical documents.

  • Familiar with wastewater treatment processes, piping systems, construction sequencing and multidisciplinary site interface coordination.

  • Experience in equipment/vendor coordination, technical documentation and resolving site engineering issues.

  • Able to work independently on site and coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, Clients and Suppliers.

  • Good command of English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

  • Willing to work in a site-based and shift-based environment as required by the project.

  • Relevant qualifications and licences must comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulatory requirements.
