Job summary

CTCI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a WWT System Engineer to lead design and execution of wastewater treatment systems for Front-End Semiconductor FAB facilities in Singapore. You will oversee process design, documentation and cross-disciplinary coordination on site.

Requirements include a Diploma/Bachelors in engineering and hands-on site coordination experience. English proficiency is essential; Chinese is a plus. 36-month contract, onsite at Woodlands North, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Experience in wastewater treatment or semiconductor FAB/high-tech facilities preferred.
• Hands-on site construction coordination and subcontractor supervision experience.
• Able to read PFDs, P&IDs and drawings.
• English good; Chinese an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site and shift-based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer WWT systems for Front-End FAB facilities.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets and equipment specs.
• Coordinate interfaces with Process, Drainage, Water Reclamation, Chemical, Facilities, Electrical and I&C.
• Support vendor data reviews and technical clarifications.
• Assist during construction, RFIs, changes and commissioning.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical issues to meet specs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements.

Job Summary

Serve as a WWT System Engineer , responsible for the technical engineering and project execution of wastewater treatment (WWT) systems for Front-End Semiconductor FAB facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• WWT System Design Design Front-End FAB WWT systems, including treatment capacity, processes, equipment, piping and layout.
• Engineering Documentation Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, equipment specifications, calculations and related design documents.
• Wastewater Treatment Design Design wastewater segregation, collection and treatment systems based on different process wastewater characteristics, including acid/alkaline, fluoride, CMP and other special waste streams.
• Multidisciplinary Interface Coordination Coordinate WWT interfaces with Process, Drainage, Water Reclamation, Chemical, Facilities, Electrical and I&C systems.
• Vendor & Technical Document Coordination Support equipment technical specifications, Vendor Data Review, technical clarifications and related document reviews.
• Construction & Site Support Handle RFIs, design changes, equipment and piping installation, and technical issues during construction.
• Testing & Commissioning Participate in WWT testing, commissioning, performance testing and water quality verification to ensure system performance meets design and effluent requirements.
• Project Progress & Technical Issues Track engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning progress and support timely resolution of technical issues.
• Environmental Compliance Ensure WWT system design complies with Client requirements, applicable environmental regulations, effluent standards and engineering requirements.
• Technical Coordination Coordinate with Clients, design and construction teams, Vendors and relevant disciplines throughout EPCK execution.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in WWT, wastewater treatment, semiconductor FAB or high-tech facility projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in site construction coordination, subcontractor supervision and engineering system installation.
• Able to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, engineering drawings, isometric drawings and related technical documents.
• Familiar with wastewater treatment processes, piping systems, construction sequencing and multidisciplinary site coordination.
• Experience in vendor coordination, technical document review and resolving site engineering issues.
• Able to work independently on site and coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, Clients and Suppliers.
• Good command of English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a site-based and shift-based environment as required by the project.
• Relevant qualifications and licences must comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulatory requirements.
