Job summary

Greenmark Construction Pte Ltd is hiring a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) cum Environmental Control Officer (ECO) to lead safety, health and environmental management on site. The role encompasses implementing the WSHMS and EMP, conducting inspections and coordinating with MOM/NEA and clients to ensure compliance.

The candidate will investigate incidents, monitor environmental controls, deliver inductions and training, and compile regular safety reports while promoting a strong safety

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Registered WSHO with MOM.
• Registered ECO with NEA.
• Experience in risk management planning (bizSAFE Level 2 or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager/Project Manager on safety, health, environmental and welfare matters.
• Serve as the designated WSHO and ECO for the project.
• Implement and maintain WSHMS and EMP.
• Conduct daily site safety, health and environmental inspections and address hazards.
• Ensure risk assessments and SWPs are implemented on site.
• Investigate accidents, near misses and environmental incidents and prepare reports.
• Monitor environmental controls including dust, noise, waste, water pollution and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities (MOM, NEA, etc.).
• Deliver safety/ENV inductions, toolbox talks and training.
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly safety/environmental reports.
• Promote safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
