Job summary

WETECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified EHS professional to lead safety initiatives on construction sites in Singapore. You will liaise with Project Managers, develop and monitor EHS programs, and ensure compliance with MOM acts.

The role requires a Diploma/degree in Engineering or EHS, MOM WSHO registration, at least 3 years' construction experience, and strong communication. Night shift flexibility may be needed depending on site arrangement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Environmental, Health and Safety or related field.
• Must be registered WSHO with MOM.
• At least 3 years of construction industry experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to work night shift if required by site.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Project Managers on workplace safety and health to maintain high safety standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and enforce MOM Acts and regulations.
• Enforce safety requirements and in-house safety rules.
• Conduct monthly Safety Committee meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement of the EHS system through ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 alignment.
• Review and maintain site's environmental, health and safety records.
• Provide EHS training to workers, staff, and site personnel.

• Develop, implement, and monitor company EHS Programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conducts regular site safety inspection and enforce compliance of prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations
• Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct monthly Safety committee meetings.
• Continuous improvement on EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards
• Review and maintain site's environmental, health and safety records.
• Carry out training to all workers, staff, and site personnel on EHS.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Environmental, Health and Safety or relevant courses
• Must be registered WSHO with MOM.
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in a construction industry.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills, and a “can-do” attitude
• Able to communicate with people of all levels.
• Willing to work for night shift (Depends on Site Arrangement)
