Job summary

KIM HUA CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a highly qualified Safety and Environmental Officer to lead on-site WSH and environmental controls in accordance with Singapore regulations. You will develop and review safety systems, investigate incidents, and liaise with MOM, NEA, and PUB to ensure full compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, thorough knowledge of the WSH Act and environmental laws, and proven experience in construction-site safety and environmental management in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Building Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Registered WSHO with MOM is mandatory.
• Registered ECO with NEA is mandatory.
• Experience in Singapore construction safety and environmental controls.
• Solid knowledge of WSH Act and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review WSH management systems and risk assessments on-site.
• Implement environmental control programmes and conduct inspections per NEA guidelines.
• Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
• Conduct daily site safety walks and environmental inspections for compliance.
• Serve as primary liaison for MOM, NEA, PUB and manage safety/environmental documentation and audits.
