Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety & Health Officer to assist in implementing and maintaining WSH policies at project sites in Singapore.

You will conduct site inspections, follow up on observations, and prepare WSH documentation to ensure compliance with regulations. The role requires a diploma in relevant fields, WSH certification or equivalent, and at least 2 years of construction site experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction or related field.
• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and site safety practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining workplace safety and health (WSH) policies and procedures at project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety checks to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
• Follow up on safety observations, corrective actions and improvement measures.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining WSH-related documentation, records and reports.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and site inductions for workers and site personnel.
• Monitor workers’ compliance with safety requirements, PPE and safe work practices.
• Assist in incident reporting, investigation and follow-up where required.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and relevant parties on WSH matters.
• Support risk assessments, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and other safety-related activities.
• Ensure site activities comply with company policies and applicable WSH requirements.

Education

Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction or related field

Requirements

• Relevant WSH certification, such as WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant WSH / construction site experience.
• Experience in Singapore construction projects will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and site safety practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
