Job summary

GL Engineering & Construction PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a WSH Officer responsible for aligning with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, updating regulations and maintaining the safety management framework.

You will implement risk management, conduct audits and on-site inspections, investigate incidents, manage documentation, and liaise with consultants and enforcing agencies. Working hours: Mon - Sat.

Responsibilities

• Update on Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) regulations pertaining to the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act
• Implement, execute and monitor the WSH management system
• Implement Risk Management
• Investigate, analyze and determine cause of any incident, accident or dangerous occurrence during work process and recommend means of preventing recurrence
• Submit accident/incident report to Company timely
• Ensure proper upkeep of documents relevant to WSH
• Monitor OHS control measures by conducting regular audits and on-site inspections
• Liaise with consultants and enforcement agencies on WSH issues
• Perform duties of WSH Officer when required
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
