Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for company and project site implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines including review and recommendations.
• Ensure site is fully complied with the relevant and latest Workplace Safety, Health and Environmental regulations and proper documentation of all safety records, certificates, notice and official related WSHE correspondence.
• Account for investigating, analyzing and determining cause of any incident, accident or dangerous occurrence during work process and recommends means of preventing recurrence
• Organize safety meeting and safety briefing and toolbox meeting at site including safety training.
• Prepare and review all Risk Assessment together with project management team.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure safety compliance.
• Report incidents and accidents to management and maintain project accident statistics.
• Handle all safety and health issues and routines.
• Liaises with site team, stakeholders and authorities on WSH issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of site working experience in safety coordination in building construction industry.
• Must have completed a MOM-approved WSHC training course with competency certificates and registered with MOM
