Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards in the workplace and implement safety procedures to reduce risk.
• Promote a strong safety culture among all workers and contractors.
• Encourage worker participation and compliance with WSH practices.
• Organize activities to raise WSH awareness.
• Communicate safety directives from management to employees.
• Perform hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Spot potential workplace hazards and recommend controls.
• Evaluate tools, machinery, and processes for safety compliance.
• Assess and address workplace risks and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement safety measures and emergency plans.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct safety inductions and orientations for new staff.
• Provide training on safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure employees are aware of health hazards and safety expectations.
• Investigate and report workplace incidents and near-misses.
• Recommend improvements based on investigations.
