Job summary

Pan-united Concrete Pte Ltd. seeks a Safety, Health and Environment Officer to plan and ensure safety compliance across projects.

You will report WSH statistics, analyze trends, and help implement the annual WSH work plan, collaborating with the Corporate WSH Secretary to address gaps in the WSH Management System. The role requires a minimal WSQ Level B certificate, up to 1 year in construction, strong English, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimal WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in construction or related field.
• Knowledge of the WSH Act and regulations.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently under a tight schedule.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects are planned and executed safely from commencement to completion.
• Tabulate and report monthly WSH statistics from all business units to the Corporate WSH Secretary.
• Analyse statistics, identify performance trends and inform and address gaps within the WSH Management System.
• Develop an annual WSH work plan based on WSH performance.
• Assist the Corporate WSH Secretary in executing and monitoring the WSH plan.
• Review and improve Safe Work Procedures for compliance with WSH Act and regulations.
• Ensure risk assessments are up to date and relevant to the business.
• Review corporate WSH framework, bizSafe, and IMS processes for relevance.
• Identify and implement control measures to close gaps in the WSH Management System.
• Attend on-site safety audits and assist in annual WSH Workshop and campaigns.
