Job summary

GATES PCM CONSTRUCTION LTD in Singapore is seeking a WTCO to manage WTSS and control all ingress/egress within the defined area for Works Train operations.

You will update track access daily, implement safety briefings, ensure routes are secured before authorising movements, and report to the Works Train Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or GCE A-Levels with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to generate weekly reports.
• Willing to work overtime and operate independently.
• Able to conduct safety briefings for Works Train operation.

Responsibilities

• Daily updating of track access book-ins and book-outs.
• Manage ingress/egress control within the defined area.
• Ensure routes are set and secured before authorising consist movements.
• Perform duties assigned by the Works Train Manager or Officer-in-charge’s representatives related to Works Train operation.

Job description

The WTCO shall manage the WTSS and control all ingress/egress in the defined area.

WTCO duties include:

• Daily updating of track access/book-ins and book-outs
• Implement workplace safety and regulate the conduct of the WTSS
• Ensure routes are set and secured before authorising consistmovements
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Works Train Manager, his representatives or Officer-in-charge’s representatives related to the Works Train operation

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering discipline or GCE A-Levels and with at least 5-years relevant past working experiences or equivalent local qualifications and subject to the acceptance from the Officer-in-charge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office application and able to provide weekly reports to the Officer-in-charge
• Able to work independently and perform overtime work on a regular basis
• Able to conduct safety briefings related to Works Train operation
• Able to handle situations, incidents, accidents and implement recovery measures
• Able to lead and take charge of a team of WTSS and WTO
