Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) invites applications for a Sales Associate role focused on CASA, card and personal loan acquisitions. You will conduct corporate roadshows, lunches and tele-consulting to generate new business and deepen relationships with clients.

You will work closely with Relationship Managers to maximize cross-selling at Workplace Banking events, manage pre- and post-sales inquiries, and ensure timely submission of income documents and applications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales or sales-related experience.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to meet sales targets and work under stress.
• B2B sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Primary focus of sales acquisition is to acquire CASA (Current Account & Saving Account), New to Bank card and Personal Loan Sales through corporate roadshows/lunch talks and Tele consulting.
• Create and maximise all sales opportunities in the area of payroll accounts acquisition through corporate tie-ups
• Proficient in face to face point-of-sales and Tele Consulting activities.
• Work closely with Relationship managers to maximise overall product cross-selling at Workplace Banking events
• Provide quality and efficient after sales services to the customers acquired.
• Follow up with customers on pre-sales enquiry with regards to secured and unsecured retail banking products.
• To follow up on income documents and any other relevant documents required for application submission.

Skills and Experience

• Candidate with no relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or sales-related role preferrered
• Able to work both independently and in a team setting
• Great presentation and great communication skills
• Able to work under stress and sales target
• Business to Business skill sets are a plus
• Able to cold call effectively
