Job summary

Abraham International Process Engineering Corp. Pte. Ltd is seeking a Safety Coordinator to advise on safety measures and risk controls within a chemical process environment. You will investigate incidents, maintain records, and propose corrective actions, while collaborating with management to ensure compliance.

The role requires strong communication, cross-cultural collaboration, and the ability to intervene in unsafe situations, with preferred WHSO/ECO licenses and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• WHSO licence is required (Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer).
• ECO licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in a chemical process environment.
• Experience collaborating with diverse colleagues across levels and nationalities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise PM and Management on safety & risk measures.
• Investigate accidents and submit reports to Management and regulators.
• Keep records of safety incidents and propose corrective action.
• Monitor safety compliance and identify safety issues with the PM.
• Intervene to halt unsafe activities or operations.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on OSH matters.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safety standards are followed.
