Job summary

ABRAHAM INTERNATIONAL PROCESS ENGINEERING CORP. PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to advise management on safety and risk measures within chemical processing environments.

You will investigate incidents, maintain records, and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure OSH compliance. The role requires strong communication, a WHSO licence, and experience coordinating across diverse teams. You will collaborate with project managers to monitor safety and propose corrective actions to prevent

Qualifications

• WHSO Licence (Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer)
• ECO Licence (Advantage)
• Preferably 2–3 years working experience in a chemical process
• Experience collaborating with colleagues and workers from different levels and nationalities
• Good communications and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Advise PM and Management on safety & risk measures
• Investigate accidents and submit reports to Management and relevant authorities
• Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective action
• Collaborate with PM to monitor safety compliance and identify safety issues
• Intervene when unsafe activities or operations occur
• Liaise with and report to official regulatory bodies on OSH matters
• Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
• In-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices
• Good communication and advisory skills
• Attentive, diligent and cooperative
