Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Production Engineer to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. You will execute process experiments, monitor performance, and collaborate with Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers, and Production teams to drive improvements.

Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling during 12-hour shifts, supporting project deployment, reducing defects, and maintaining uptime for critical tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 3-5 years of semiconductor background; cleanroom and wafer processing exposure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor process steps and modules.
• Familiarity with SPC tools, data analysis and problem-solving methods (e.g., 5 Why, Pareto).
• Ability to work with MES, process control and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork; collaborate with operators, technicians and engineers.
• Willingness to work in cleanroom environment, night shifts, and on-call for OT.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn complex processes step by step.

Responsibilities

• Process Monitoring & Controlling during 12hrs shift working.
• Support to Process Engineering team on Project execution & deployment.
• Yield, Quality & Defect Reduction based on engineering analysis.
• Operations & Equipment Support to maintain good UP Time for critical tool group.
• Strong quality awareness & ability to detect weaknesses before issues occur.
• Continuous Improvement & EHS Compliance.
