Job summary

AURORA ASIAPACIFIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer for precision engineering tasks in West Singapore. You will manage QMS, perform audits, and handle inspections across the production cycle to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years in QA/QC, knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP/PPAP, and hands-on measurement skills with CMM, micrometers and height gauges. Strong problem-solving and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in QA/QC in precision stamping, metal fabrication or automotive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA and GD&T.
• Experience with measurement equipment such as CMM, micrometer and height gauge.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• IATF Internal Auditor / Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage QMS and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal/customer audits and maintain quality documentation.
• Handle incoming, in-process and final inspections, including FAI and PPAP.
• Investigate quality issues and lead RCA, 8D and corrective actions.
• Work with Production, Tooling and Engineering teams to resolve stamping defects.
• Support quality improvement activities such as SPC, CPK and MSA.
• Handle customer complaints and monitor supplier quality.
• Prepare quality reports and analyse defect trends.
