Job summary

Shangri-La Singapore is seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our Health Club team. You will support daily operations, maintain cleanliness, and assist guests with enquiries while upholding high service and safety standards in a luxury hotel setting.

Experience in hospitality or guest service, basic English, and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred. Shift work including weekends and public holidays is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a gym, fitness facility, hotel or country club environment.
• Basic spoken and written English.
• Preferably CPR and First Aid certification.
• Able to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
• Prior experience in hospitality or guest service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the Health Club and its facilities
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the gym, pool, changing rooms and recreational facilities
• Attend to guest and member enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Handle guest and member registration and cashiering duties
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas
• Ensure gym equipment, towels and facilities are properly maintained and replenished
• Report maintenance issues to the relevant departments promptly
• Uphold hotel service, hygiene and safety standards at all times
