Job summary

MANDAI RESORTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Recreation Attendant to warmly greet guests and showcase knowledge of our recreational activities. You will oversee facilities, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional service across pools, gym, and leisure areas.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset and knowledge of fitness/recreation activities. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, with First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC in Recreation Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in recreational management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Knowledge of fitness and recreational activities, including swimming and wellness practices.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests at our recreational facilities, including pools, gym, and other leisure areas.
• Monitor guest activities to ensure safety and compliance with Resort policies.
• Provide information about available recreational activities, equipment, and services.
• Set up and maintain recreational equipment, ensuring all areas are clean and well-organized.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Organize and participate in recreational activities and events for guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
