Job summary

Prestige Media Management Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled welder to perform stainless steel welding, read technical drawings, assemble and fabricate structures, and inspect welded parts to meet quality standards.

Candidates should have relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, a welding certificate preferred, and strong attention to detail. Night or split shifts and weekend/PH work may be required; safety gear and strict procedures must be followed.

• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.

• Willingness to work weekends/PH.
• Willingness to work night shift or split shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on stainless steel materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble, weld, and fabricate stainless steel structures or components.
• Inspect and ensure welded parts meet quality standards.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment safely.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Maintain and repair all machinery.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
