Job summary

SGR CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Welder to prepare and set up tools for welding tasks while maintaining a safe work environment. You will report issues to your supervisor and help resolve fabrication problems to ensure high-quality results.

The role requires proficiency in gas cutting, PP welding, metal arc welding, and orbital welding, with 2–3 years of similar experience. Heavy lifting and prolonged standing are expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Welding certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in 3G, 4G, 5G & 6G welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up tools and equipment needed for welding tasks.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following standard procedures.
• Report fabrication issues and help resolve them as needed.
• Ensure high-quality work standards are met.
• Report job-related issues to your supervisor.
• Care for and safely handle welding equipment and tools.
• Keep the workplace tidy and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
• Inspect and maintain tools and welding equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Document any safety incidents or hazards observed during operations.
• Carry out the heavy lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing.
