Job summary

RELIABLE CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is hiring a welding technician to prepare and set up tools and equipment for welding tasks, while maintaining a safe work environment and high quality standards. You will report issues to your supervisor and handle welding equipment with care, also performing related duties as assigned.

Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role; welding certification is advantageous, and proficiency in 3G/4G/5G/6G welding is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Welding certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in 3G, 4G, 5G & 6G welding techniques.
• Skilled in gas cutting, PP welding, metal arc welding and orbital welding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up tools and equipment needed for welding tasks.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following standard procedures.
• Report fabrication issues and help resolve them as needed.
• Ensure high-quality work standards are met.
• Report job-related issues to your supervisor.
• Care for and safely handle welding equipment and tools.
• Keep the workplace tidy and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
• Inspect and maintain tools and welding equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Document any safety incidents or hazards observed during operations.
• Carry out heavy lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing.
