Job summary

PHAETON ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a welding technician to prepare and set up welding tools, maintain a safe work environment, and document safety incidents.

The role involves inspecting equipment, reporting issues, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in welding with proficiency in gas cutting, PP welding, and orbital welding, and may have welding certifications.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Welding certification is an advantage.
• Capable of completing tasks within deadlines.
• Proficient in gas cutting, PP welding, orbital welding.

Requirements

• Skilled in gas cutting, PP welding, metal arc welding, and orbital welding
• Ability to follow standard welding SOPs
• Capable of completing tasks within deadlines
• Welding certification is an advantage
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role required
• Proficient in 3G, 4G, 5G & 6G welding techniques
• Physically fit to carry out heavy lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing
