Job summary

THAKRAL SYSTEMS (S) PTE. LTD. seeks a software support professional to maintain and enhance web applications and discuss business requirements with users. You will implement enhancements and work with vendors to resolve issues, while producing clear operation guides and documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing, strong SQL/Oracle skills, and experience with VB6/ASP.NET/VB.NET/C#.NET, JavaScript, J2EE, and SSRS. 5-day work week, 8am–5.30pm, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in the manufacturing field or related area.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, web and client-server concepts.
• Experience with VB6, ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB.NET and Oracle and C#.net with J2EE & JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle & SQL Server databases; SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Access VBA is a plus.
• Knowledge in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus.
• At least 2 SDLC implementation cycles.
• Understanding of semiconductor industry business is a plus.
• Independent with strong analytical skills; able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Working Hours: 8am to 5.30pm, 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance operation web applications.
• Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations and user guides.
• Investigate and resolve application functionality with vendors when enhancements are needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting software application issues.
