Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager trainee to provide wealth management and account opening support to a team of relationship managers.

You will interact with clients, advisors, referral sources, and other support groups to help the team acquire, deepen and broaden client relationships. You will work with relationship managers and clients to ensure timely transactions, accurate reporting, and compliance with audit standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's/University degree preferred.
• Experience in wealth, banking or operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wealth management services to Citigold and Citi Private clients.
• Manage client transactions with respect to banking, credit and investment products; ensure audit/compliance.
• Resolve client investigations with operations and middle office teams.
• Coordinate account maintenance and reporting (addresses, contact details, status, rates, waivers).
• Enforce banking policies to maintain operational integrity and client satisfaction.
• Arrange client visits and perform service quality checks with clients.
• Obtain banker/client appointments to deepen relationships or generate referrals.
• Identify new business opportunities for referrals to bankers or product specialists.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies and ethics.
