SUNRISE SOLAR PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Waterproofing & Solar Panel Trade Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of waterproofing and solar panel installation projects in Singapore.

You will manage site operations, subcontractors, materials, schedules and client coordination while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant construction or trade project management experience.
• Experience in waterproofing, roofing, building maintenance, or solar installation is advantageous.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Waterproofing & Solar Panel Trade Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, execution and completion of waterproofing and solar panel installation projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing site operations, subcontractors, workers, materials, project schedules and client coordination while ensuring that all works are completed safely, efficiently and according to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage waterproofing and solar panel projects from commencement to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
• Prepare detailed project schedules, work programmes, and manpower requirements to optimize resource allocation
• Coordinate effectively with clients, main contractors, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to align project goals
• Monitor project progress, control costs, and evaluate overall project performance to meet targets
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work progress and compliance with schedules
• Identify potential site issues proactively and implement practical solutions to minimize delays
• Oversee waterproofing works on roofs, balconies, planter boxes, toilets, basements, concrete structures, and building facades
• Coordinate various waterproofing systems including liquid-applied membranes, cementitious waterproofing, PU injection, PMMA, and other specialist systems
• Assess site conditions and recommend appropriate waterproofing solutions based on technical requirements
• Ensure proper surface preparation, application procedures, detailing, and quality control measures are followed
• Manage water ponding tests, inspections, and necessary rectification works to maintain standards
• Prepare site reports, method statements, quotations, and completion documentation as required
• Manage and coordinate solar panel installation projects including site preparation, material delivery, lifting/hoisting, and installation activities
• Collaborate with solar companies, electrical contractors, roof contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure waterproofing and roof protection measures are addressed before and during solar installation to prevent damage
• Coordinate installation works to minimize damage to existing roof and waterproofing systems
• Monitor manpower, equipment, access arrangements, and enforce site safety requirements consistently
• Supervise workers and subcontractors to maintain productivity and workmanship quality
• Allocate manpower according to project needs and coordinate daily site activities to resolve issues promptly
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to approved work procedures and project specifications
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and work quality to meet project standards
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, approved methods, and relevant safety regulations
• Conduct ongoing quality checks and maintain proper housekeeping and protection of completed works
• Coordinate inspections and rectification works with clients and consultants to ensure satisfaction
• Identify potential safety and quality risks and implement corrective actions swiftly
• Track project costs, materials, and manpower usage to support budget control
• Prepare quotations, variation orders, and progress claims as required for project administration
• Liaise with suppliers to coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including photographs, reports, and records
• Assist management in reviewing project profitability and implementing cost control measures

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building, Project Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant construction or trade project management experience
• Experience in waterproofing, roofing, building maintenance, or solar installation is advantageous
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and sequencing
• Ability to manage workers, subcontractors, and multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project documentation
• Singapore construction experience preferred
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage
