Job summary

F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Singapore to support manufacturing and quality needs. You will lead receiving, picking, packing, issuing and sampling of materials, and maintain accurate inventory using SAP. The role emphasizes GMP/GDP compliance, safety, and continuous improvement through Lean practices.

The position is based at Tuas Bay Link with shuttle services, and requires a one-year commitment. Prior warehouse experience and a forklift license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher NITEC/NITEC/degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering or related field.
• Experience in warehouse/logistics operations; GMP-regulated environment preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse operations.
• Valid forklift license; able to operate forklift.
• Willing to be based at Singapore Tuas Bay Link; shuttle provided from MRT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform receiving, picking, packing, issuing, and sampling of materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts and data entry into SAP.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure procedures are followed.
• Support warehouse improvement projects and Lean initiatives.
• Adhere to cGMP, GDP, and SHE standards; ensure proper labeling and segregation.
• Document orders and manage change requests and event discrepancies.
• Escalate abnormal events promptly and maintain safety measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Lead and perform the receiving, picking, packing, issuing, and sampling of materials to support manufacturing and quality needs.
• Inventory Accuracy: Maintain impeccable inventory levels through diligent cycle counting and precise data entry into SAP and other database systems.
• Shipment Coordination: Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring receiving, picking and packing procedures are followed.
• Team Collaboration: Contribute to Warehouse team activities to ensure consistent operational support and warehouse improvement projects.
• Quality Compliance Standards: Adhere strictly to cGMP, GDP, local/corporate policies, and safe handling requirements for Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Documentation: Perform accurate order fulfillment; initiate and follow up on Change Requests and event discrepancies.
• Reporting: Promptly escalated abnormal events and ensure proper labeling and segregation of materials.
• Safety, Health & Environment (SHE): Maintain a "safety-first" mindset by complying with all SHE requirements; report workplace accidents, near misses, or hazards immediately; observe site security measures and report suspicious activity.
• Continuous Improvement: Embody the Lean Production System (LPS) mindset and lead warehouse continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in warehouse/logistics operations, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse operations.
• Valid forklift license (operating forklift is part of job duties).
• Willing to be based at Singapore Tuas Bay Link; company shuttle bus is provided at the MRT stations.
• Willing to commit for a one year contract.
