Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support inbound/outbound processes and materials handling. Tasks include unloading pallets, verifying items, break-bulk procedures, put-away and picking with reach trucks, packing shipments, and maintaining stock accuracy.

Candidate should have forklift driver certification, 2+ years’ warehouse experience, and proficiency with RF scanners. Daily pre-inspections and timely reporting of discrepancies are required.

Qualifications

• Forklift driver certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a warehouse assistant.
• Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks.
• Proficient in scanning operations across systems.
• Ability to respond quickly and report irregularities.
• Strong accuracy in counting and verification.
• Committed to completing tasks within set turnaround times.
• Adherence to established procedures essential.
• Experience in continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets from incoming containers using a forklift.
• Conduct inbound verification through visual checks or scanning methods.
• Execute break-bulk procedures from mixed SKU pallets or cartons.
• Perform put-away to selective racking or shelving with reach truck.
• Pick items from selective racking or shelving with reach truck.
• Carry out outbound verification through visual checks or scanning methods.
• Pack multiple items into cartons for shipment.
• Conduct stock counts and identify discrepancies as necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping according to supervisor directives.
• Conduct daily pre-inspections of forklifts and reach trucks.
• Report any irregularities promptly to the supervisor.
